Re-introduction and a new EA.

Postby EAsyS-pack » December 30th, 2011, 12:01 am

Thought I should re-introduce myself... Since I haven't really posted here since 2009/10...

I'm Liam. Hi :).

Moved to Melbourne from the Gold Coast, October of last year (2010 since we're so close to the New Year) and loving it.

Used to have a sky blue 88' EA S-pack (as the name suggests) with 380,000km on the clock. That old thing was totalled by my mother (lol).

Upgraded... A year, to an 89' EA S-pack. Got 'her for $700 as is with 100,058km... Got it roadworthy ($250 hell yes), serviced etc. (It'd sat for a while before I bought it) and drove it down to Melbourne (from the Gold Coast)... So it's currently sitting at around 103,000km.

It was dirty as all shit, so I gave it a VERY thorough clean (took a whole bloody day to scrape spray paint off the windows from a dodgy job, wax, steel brush the tyres/recondition the rims as much as possible).

This is what it turned out like:

Note four things, the loose window seal, half a working tail light, missing rear Ford badge and the funky hood ornament lol.

Fun.

You'd think so... Lol. I think they just thought, 'it still works-ish... Pass."

And this is NSW we're talking about.
