T3 wings dont have that little cut out pannel thing on the outside of each upright like yours does. Pretty sure all knock off kits come with these. Like I said though, even if it was OEM I still wouldn't like it on your car anyway!

T3 kit on a T3, that is all.

now that im home and able to use my laptop i thought id check out ev says about my boot spoiler being a hawk copy rather than a t3 copy.

i knew mine had different mounting feet, but hadnt noticed any other difference, until i had a decent look now...

i think next time the spoilertek guy comes into work im gonna have a chat to him. end of the day im not concerned about my car, imo it still looks heaps better than what it did, and i never planned to do a perfect replica, just to try and make my shitter look a little better.

Haha, nah, I actually remembered from back in my aufalcon.com days when they used to have a cry about small things like this. Pretty sure one dude started some shit back in the day when he ordered a T3 kit and got this.

t3 kit looks good, i would keep the car gloss black just get a cut and polish

black on black is definately working.

ps. black painted headlight bezels would look sweet on this !

cheers, and yup, painting the headlights is on the cards, i just want to get a spare set to do it too, im a bit wary about sticking them in the oven lol

yea get a set of the forte headlights (matt bezels) and when you do it just take your time, don't put them under too much heat though, that will kill em. there is a tutorial on fordforums which goes through the steps, pretty good one to follow. i'm still contemplating on doing mine but id get another set and id give it a go on them.

i'm not usually a fan on bodykits, especially t3 kits on anything other then a genuine t3 but i like the scheme so far going on this car. keep it up

so plan for this weekend was to get the headlights painted, and get the front bar meshed.

paid $350 for seats/door cards/shifter and surround. good price i reckon.

Far out. It's amazing what a bit of leather and woodgrain can do to improve an AU's interior. The stock trim pattern is so poxy.

This has come a long way. Black on black on black. Shaping up to be a tough example :good:

nice job on the interior, i did the same in my car. keep the chrome handles as they look prestige inside the car, id just carbon wrap all the woodgrain.

yeah decided to keep the chrome, mainly cos theres already a few random bits of chrome in there so it helps it all tie in a bit better.

got some of that supercheap carbon vinyl, no idea what the quality is like, but i wont do it until the next long weekend.

Drove through it. Almost.

Had no choice traffic was backed up , zero visibility to risk a u turn. Heaps of others made it through fine but when the water rolled over my bonnet the airbox took a big gulp. Engine stopped with a big clonk.

Turns over but sounds really odd, like when you wind over an engine with no plugs.

At the moment I'm over it, going round the yards tomorrow.

yeah $300 for a wrecker spec engine, plus paying someone to fit it, plus getting it towed from work, plus the time to organise it all. i work 80 hrs a week, dont have the time or the inclination to spend more on it, il cut my losses on it now.

its just the last nail in the coffin for it really. im about to head down to work to see if itl start, but yeah, im over it.

water never got inside the car, just engine bay.
