he can. but that requires me to go all the way to west footscray just for a dyno number. And he doesnt do weekends. So not too fussed. Thought id try my luck at the local guys as im 2 mins away. Not going around dyno to dyno just to try pull up a number. She will run 140+mph so thats all that matters

Your right. I got a basic set-up compared to anyone else pushing 450+.stock head (bar vsprings), stock cams, stock diff, stockish turbo setup, stock manifold, shitty btr and ye. Wrapped with it all

if i get a 9 with 418rwkw, it will be the lowest powered ba+ to do so. Even less so than Adam's INLFYT which was stripped to the paint! (420rwkw with glide + full slicks/FRs + 90/10s etc).

car goes in for full respray tonight. Hopefully its back on the road by next fri.

Booking car for an auto service, sourcing some new MT ET STREETS and got myself a full set of XYZ Coilovers for a great price! Should have them fitted for Friday night too.

relax. I dont go out and get hammared or smoke/drugs etc. Stacks of money saved there.
The respray is an insurance respray

And building house stuff hasnt really started yet. Still awaiting plans. I have to pay a k here and there for random things/permits/surveys etc but ye. Ill get refinanced once plans are approved.

ETs i can get for about 500$ now brand new, coilovers i got the full kit for about 700, auto service will be few hundred....

nothing overly expensive here.

justa6. I wanted to get car finished (performance wise) with funds i got from selling old house which i have. Funds are depleted but still managing with a decent wage + ebay sales.

I used to think that as well back when I was an apprentice, but now after working for 20 years and building up some funds and so forth, you get to a financial stage in life where you don't struggle week to week.
I am the same, don't smoke, don't drink etc, just play cars. and spend the money wisely.oh and I work my a** off !

ye cant get to far on apprentice wages unfortunately. Lucky for me there is no apprentice as such in IT. Mind you im way past that with about 6-7 years in the professional IT world.

Seems im 4-6 weeks away from testing the new 4sp powerglide internals. Auto place has offered for me just to pay for parts and nothing else when i bring it in as I have the most powerful car out of their database by a fair bit (pull your finger out headsex + john

)

So hopefully car behaves till then.

i still need to raise it a little. Few rattles in the back going over small road bumps. Also exhaust still about 4mm too low. So need to raise a bit more then grind a bit of the cat flange and one of the exhaust holders a bit.

Can you fit 17's on the front? That's providing you still refuse to run the 20's on the rear ( they are 20's yeah)? Gotta get a matching set of wheels on it man. But other then that it does look really good. Keen to see how this next lot of btr upgrades goes.

yea 19s are smallest that will fit over brembos. They also must be 'x-factor' rims to fit over brembos.

rears are ET Streets so they will always be there. I think its tuff as nails anyway rocking up next to anyone with ET Streets. But would look good with matching wheels.

And yeah, insurance paid for paint job. so cost me nothing

they work well against FOB asian/indian drivers who have no idea how to indicate and cut you off on regular basis at opeak hours lol

Yeah, you missed both tho. 19s+17s doesn't look tuff, it looks pov, like you're too broke to afford tyres for your other two rims. Either that or youre the stereotypical bogan out to be a sick **** with stockos on the rear.
