new here hello :) - EF XR8 / XP Sedan

Hello

thought i would come into this and join.

I have a EF XR8, stock apart from exhaust work, Headers and dual stainless pipes.

Goes quite well for a daily.

I also have an XP Falcon Sedan that i am slowly restoring. Its flat black and i am going for the rat rod look.

Anyway, glad to join and i shall post up some pics soon.

This is my XP, before the flat black paint. I shall take some updated pics soon.

For giggles this is my old coupe i sold last year.

My EF XR8, is a basic white XR, like anyone elses But will put pics up too.

I planned to have it forever too!
Had it 17 years, from 16 years of age to 31 when i sold it.
Mrs is now 8 months pregnant, with twins!
Hence the sale.

Think I prefer the XP to the coupe. Something different.

Not sure if the XP paint is finished but you should consider satin black instead of flat. Less work to keep it looking good.

Coupes are awesome, but the early falcons imo are something special.

The XC was on ebay for 2 hours before it sold. Very easy sale thankfully, and to be truthful, it needed work. I drove the thing everywhere.

Thank you for the replies, in reference to the paint, it does have a coat of clear over the flat black, making it look much better.

The paint is never finished, really something to tinker with as it is still at mums place, was actually thinking flames, but the all black does look good.

I bought a sun visor for it on the weekend. Looking forward to fitting that up.

I also have the spats and other random ol skool crap to put on it.

But for now, i just want it registered. Perhaps for the moment waiting for the Mrs to give birth may have priority! (shes due in 3 weeks)

Lol thats creepy then maybe its not an xp. Definitely an old style black car parked next to a white ef xr . Rego is expensive everywhere.
