New to boostedfalcon and driving solo

Postby Robson1994 » February 15th, 2012, 7:25 pm

hey everyone,
just turned 18 and am loving the freedom. im currently attending Brentwood secondary in Melbourne doing year 12.
My first car is a 2003 BA XR6, i must admit i was a holden man and then i got this great opportunity to buy a ford cheapish and never looked back.
Car is still stock but am looking to do small modifications that are not too over the top considering im still on a students budget.
i will get picture up soon, but at the moment is it a nice, straight forward XR6 which i love.

Sounds like a decent first car.

Get some pics up and avoid typical ghey P plater mods such as neons, venetians, whitewalls etc.

Welcome, sounds good so far. Exhaust, lowering, rims, are the usual basic mods that aren't too out of reach. But still enjoyable as a stock XR6 for now :)

Here's a list of everything I hate.

Venetians
Whitewalls on cars that couldn't get them from factory
Venetians on anything post XF
Neons
Hectic sound systems
Bonnet Bulges
LUXO_8's NC taking 11ty years to finish
Any Bob Jane T-Mart or Tempe Tyre special rim packages
Dark Argents

Want a B series to look good? Take a look at [Sterling]'s BA XR6T. Lowered, factory rims and a few other little touches. Less is more when it comes to these cars.

Everything I hate on boosted.

Over opinionated supercharged EL drivers :D

Welcome, nice first car, is it manual or auto and what color, slam it with a nice set of alloys and you will have a nice car, b series are real easy to make look good, but even easier to make em look shit.

Dark Argents aren't that bad, they just get used a lot, both on their proper off set and on e-series offsets. But with many rims that suit BA's and BF's I don't see why everyone and their dog would go for them.

I think GT-P kits look awesome!. As long as its not going to be badged as a gt-p who cares. Look better than any other aftermarket kit.
