I CBF searching cause I don't need them, but do they make et's in 19's? That would mean 19's all round and still keep your et's on the back. Which I don't know why you run on the st when people on here from your area say you take it easy driving around so your only putting unnecessary wear on them.

car is driven as it is on the track. I dont like changing things here and there just to be different on the track.

Its not that i cant afford tyres for 20s on the back, but i will skate everywhere. Whats the point of having power you cant put to the ground? People with 500rwkw on the hwy in a manual == useless till 150km/h and onwards.

its not rocket science why im running et streets on the back lol. Its all about putting power down to the ground and been faster. Like i care it it looks bad in a select few's eyes. Everyone has their opinions in looks.

Id be worried pulling up to someone with et's on the back, over someone who is running 20's who has more power. Im sure for a few guys with your 170rwkw's cars dont understand the concept. Anyone who has the power and trying to put it down, understand the concept.

I may move to front runners though on the front...so see how we go anyway.

omy-747 need a fair bit of wall for the et's to work. the 17's have the least amount of wall you would want on ET Streets. any bigger tyre size will decrease the wall of the tyre. Else the riding diameter is affected.

I understand the wanting to keep the power and traction down. Even though my quickest car was only a 220rwkw manual vlt base model sl so pretty light. Couldn't launch hard in that even on the st otherwise it would keep spinning till 120km. So with the power you got I can clearly understand the want to keep the et's on. I still reckon the car looks alright, just would look heaps better if you can manage a matching set was all.

Smaller front brakes and 17's to match would be mint. Probably a bit subtle for you though.

Get a big unit sticker on the back so other wankers want to race.

some front runners clear big brakes because of their offset and reduced width.

agree with all previous, ditch the VS commo look with shit cheap 20's and stockos on the back, ruins a nice looking car.

Why the **** you want to run Brembos and front runners? You could have the drums off the front of a mini on it and still be able to lock up front runners.

I'd say get sick wide mad offset jap rims and run Brembos and ETs, but then I don't want you to make sick wide mad offset jap rims gay for the rest of us.

The paint job looks good dude, but i have to agree with everyone else about the wheels.

BA XR8 18's fit over brembo's.. you could run some 18s and then get 18inch et streets, I'm sure they wouldn't have much less traction than 17's. You could even go for wider ones.
Or try the same wheels as you have in 18s for the rear and keep the hektik 20s for the front, that way it doesn't look hobo spec!

I bet 99% of people you pull up next to have no idea what et streets are and they think you must have your spare wheel on the back :D

If it was a house forum you would be copping shit for giving people expert advice about plumbing even though you don't know a stilson wrench from a drain snake.

Anyways, spray looks good. I'm surprised you drive on the street with MT's, they're pretty shit for cold grip once they've been heat cycled a few times.

If it was a house forum you would be copping shit for giving people expert advice about plumbing even though you don't know a stilson wrench from a drain snake.

Anyways, spray looks good. I'm surprised you drive on the street with MT's, they're pretty shit for cold grip once they've been heat cycled a few times.

lol well it doesnt really work like that. im guessing you made a claim saying the car was vandalized, then your best mates sisters brothers friend who works at tyre factory knows a guy who knows a guy and you got the car resprayed and maybe chuck in some coin to do the bonnet. or something along those lines :drinks2:

something like that, but with no admitions by me :) And no i didnt chuck in any extra coin either :P

kris, the whole point of the AMS1000 I have put in is to feed the boost in over time ,so I have( / still some programming needed) it set up so it only has 24psi top half of the rev range. No point having 24psi from 3000rpm as once the wheels start spinning, then its all over.

hence why i went for the ams over the eboost2 :)
