launch control & gearbox

Postby xxxr6t » April 1st, 2012, 9:07 pm

ok i want to know if the bf ba auto comes with launch control i seen a comment on you-tube saying in the xr6t auto put it in neutral and rev it and it will only rev to 3000 then hit it into drive, i have a xr6 non turbo and in neutral it will only rev to 3000 but i am a bit worried slapping it into drive i did this on a ea i had and put the gearbox through the roof
also has anyone ever tried to put a xr6 4 or 6 speed into a e-series :geek:

It's not launch control, it's protecting the driveline from dickheads trying to redline the engine then drop it into gear. E-Series and B-Series 4speeds are both BTR boxes, 6 speed manuals have been done everywhere, autos not so much.

You can put the sports shift into an e-series box. Commando did it!

misk has made a manual controller for the 4 speed BTR, have a look in his build thread.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
