Looks mint man, dark wheels on a heritage green e-series = win :drinks2:

Haha mine has the same problem with tyres rubbing on the plastic guard lining during tight turns. It's a bitch of a sound too!

I'd be keen to see some pics of how they have done the exhaust too. I've got a left hand tip on mine too, but I have no petrol tank there. I think it will look good about an inch higher...but I reckon you should paint the rims light silver, they would stand out alot more...I love this car though. Very nice.

ok heres some pics of how the exhaust has been done. as below:
Image
Image
Image
its the normal way an exhaust is setup but where the tip would be on the rhs there is a join from behind it to the lhs of the bumper.
then theres a pipe from that to the tip, runs behind the fuel tank in behind the rear bumper.
doesnt look the best kob when looked at up close but sounds awesome so i dont care.
sorry if the pics are a bit crappy but thats all i could fit on my iphone screen.

i cut holes in my inner gaurds to stop the rubbing works a treat.

you think the rubbing sounds bad wait till it wears a hole in it and the edge grabs the tyre, its a terrible noise

yep it could do with a wash ! did you paint the brakes yellow or was it already like that ? are you getting personalized number plates ?

if not you could get the standard plates in black or white.. i bought a set for my cortina, they look heaps better than the white ones.. im getting personilized plates for my xr in a few weeks !

with the ride height, i reckon lift the front 20 mm and it should sit nice and no more scrubbing.. by the looks of it you have camber issues, its because its so low ! lift the front and get a camber kit fitted if you dont already have one and a wheel alignment.. then it will be happy days

sorry rynsxr, didnt read it properly this morning.

yeah i have personalised plates in black and white just need to transfer them over when i can afford it.
yeah i definitely need to wash it looks a tad filthy this weekend.
and i changed the springs in this last night to superlows. so much easier to turn now and no more tailshaft rubbing on the tunnel.
lucky i decided to change the springs as the front shocks were rooted. pissing out oil and wouldnt even come back up after pushing them down.
heres some pics of how it sits now.

looks a bit high but as they say front springs need to settle after a week or so.
but i was wrapped scored the rear springs from pick a part for $50.

Was also thinking about changing my interior carpet to black plushpile. What do you guys think?? thoughts?
