where the hell do you get original 19/20" amg rims and tires for 3k? If i find what i want for 103k ill obviously get it or im sure the owner wont NOT sell it for 100k.

You do realise C63's come standard with 18's and only have 19's as an option yeah? And the difficulties/legalities involved in putting legal 20" wheels and rubber on one?

If you wait 6 weeks, a 103k car will be worth 100k.

I'd prefer an E55 too, the blown 5.4's sound even better, and can make 500bhp with changed intake pipes.

AMG are replacing the 6.2L V8 with a twin-turbo 5.5L, the TT ML63 should be out at the start of next year if you can wait that long and want to buy new.

Maybe a G55? front live axle makes it a good rock crawler too lol. Has the blown 5.4L.

S65, wow !! what a car ! wow, what high KMs ! Did the driver ever sleep ?

Surely CVE could do a J3 for it !! haha.

It is a lot of car for the money, even if it crapped itself you could buy an imported un registerable one and rat it for the parts.

If Icer was serious, this would be the car to buy ! Probably wouldn't get back in his BA though !!

lol i want something not boosted. c63 is just something on my bucket list. plenty more better cars to throw money at but we all have our own bucket lists! Mine may just be a bit more expensive over others.

i prefer the 'stance' of the c63 over the e55

Who needs stance with an S65. You're driving a half million dollar car. They have hydraulics too, you can dump them on their arse. Plus 20z are standard, along with the 3 Point Star bonnet emblem.

What about a diesel V10 TT Touareg for towing Paul? I've driven a few of these (not the V10 though) and they're genuinely impressive cars.

I have been thinking of the Toureg.
255kw and 750Nm, has to go well !!

I have spoke to 2 owners ( not V10) and they hated them.

The other thing is AMG rolls off the tounge so much nicer than Volkswagon !! I know it's wank, but I am sure you will agree.

Then there is the Cayenne Turbo, but to me that looks too..... dunno, just not me !

I was gonna buy the Grand Cherokee SRT8 when I bought the Caprice. Dunno what to do, caprice is nice and twin turbo does make it tow well !! but I want a bigger trailer !

lol, I agree totally. Even BMW M car's aren't the same, and Porsche only build 2 door rear engine cars in my book.

There's also the Audi Q7, built on the same chassis as the Touareg and Cayenne. But they don't really do it for me either.

I think my foray into AMG will be with a W211 E55, one day, someday.

welp. Went to heathcote on sunday. Had a practice launch run, no good. Lined up for 2nd run and it rained out for rest of day. BOOOOO

O well. I see alot of fordxr6t boys going to calder this Sat. I might go to shake some cages. Sounds like alot of potential is going this sat!
