Hey all just thought id give a quick into on my behalf.

My names Jocelynn im 16 and still "studying" at highschool im currently doing cert1 in automotive and plan on following it as a future job.
I've recently got my hands onto a 1996 EF Fairmont automatic, car has done 220,000ks but motor is a recon with approx 45,000ks on it.

Car cost me $900 because the alternator and power steering pump had gone on it, so i thought i would get my hands onto it.
Im glad i have bought it because she sounds sweet and has no pannel damage what so ever.

So far all i have done to her it given her a bath and cleaned her interior up a bit just with some armoural and now she smells beautiful, I have also got a 2.5" exhaust system on it.. with no resinator (Hotdog) just 1 muffler and she is running 101DB at 3500 RPM which .. i hope i dont get defected for. I also just have the ordinary 12" subwoofer and 6x9's in the rear which just gives me something to cut the droan out.

Im soon to be putting KingSpring Superlows in it and also looking for some Pre-Au Dark Argents but so far im looking at around $1450 to get some from ebay and brought to me here in Adelaide.

I have great ideas for this car as its my pride 'n' Joy, but im not good enough at photoshop to be able to do a preview.

My goals for my car are:

- Full Leather interior (fairmont GHIA)
- KingSpring Superlows (F + R)
- 19x8.5 Charcoal Dark Argents
- White Walls
- White venetions
- altezza Tail lights (Mabye)

My EFMONT is Gunmetal grey and bootiful, Some may ask why im called "Dezzy D" this is because im only on my L's and im not a huge drinker so im sure my mates ect will be using me as their designated driver...

anyways, just something about me.

Haha alright fellas mabye ill ditch the altezzas, what do you guys think i should put on it then.. its gunmetal grey should i just leave the lights standard?

The red / clear tail lights from ef's and Ef / el fairmonts look best

hm i can't picture them in my head.. are you talking about the standard tail lights? (which i should already have on my car because its a fairmont) haha thanks.

Yeah that's them, your stock lights will look the best.

I've noticed some models come with dull colored lights but otherwise look the same. I noticed when I smashed the rear right light my replacement when I pulled it off the car at the wreckers looked the same as what I had until it was on my car and you could see my old one was bright and clearer
