got the day off tomorrow. so i'll fit up the rebuilt front calipers and new brake hoses, bleed the brakes and have it driveable again.
Then it's just get a new windscreen, fix a spot of rust on the roof and RHR wheel arch and she's ready for roady and rego. C4C here we come.

fitted the rebuilt calipers today. and bled the brakes. Drives like a new one. Also adjusted the timing so it is more responsive and runs nice. But it pings a little on acceleration. But the fuel in it is about 3 months old.

lol. that won't happen. It originally had a Ghia garnish. So it's staying there. This car is meant to stay stock looking on the outside. But it still stands out.

replaced boot struts, changed thermostat (stopped it running hot) and replaced the washer motor last night. Borrowed my painters trade plate and dropped it off there today. Screen has been pulled out already. Painter is fixing a bit of rust above the windscreen and RHR wheel arch. then a new screen will be fitted early next week. Then she is ready for roady. IF all goes well, it'll be registered by the end of next week.

it should be. i'm trying my hardest.
The issue is HYPOEB is that the guy i bought it off neglected it big time. and it seems neglect brings rust. Turns out someone in the past has done a piss poor job sealing around the windscreen so water has sat in the ridge. causing it to rust out.
So maybe end of next week it'll be done.

I got a list done through work like 12 months ago. it is now complete. So it should be as easy as check it over, pics, brake test, write it out. Then just book in at VicRoads and fork out $700
