haha no experience here but I noticed them in a feature in street commo's with Gup's 727 cubed HSV E2 GTS... I doubt 2/5 of ****
all people even know about them let alone run them...

i didnt know about them till mentioned here.

305 wide but only 35 sidewall....cant be all that good now can they?

Find me a tyre place who will sponser me a few sets for testing. Im sure if i get results, everyone would jump on them :)

Man, I just want you to run a 9 already lol. Everytime I see an update in this post I'm hoping for the time slip 9.xx down the quarter.

Still agree with basically everyone else about the wheel's though, your on your own with your current selection.

The wheels on the front don't actually look that bad, would look better with a full set of rims, even if they are the 20s. Looked clean at Sandown, dirty engine bay was a bit of a let down though for the display.

Yeah, I'm referring to the mismatched wheels. I'd rather see butt ugly wheels that are the same all round then stockies on the back and mags on the front. Makes you look like a tight arse IMO no matter what the tires are.

i am a tight ass :D

Engine bay is the cleanest it has ever been lol! Just smashed it with degreaser in the morning all around and washed it out. haha Car is more go before show. Always will be. Else id bag it, flare it and roll on 22s :D

Seems calder and heathcote dont want me to run.

Calder yet again has been cancelled on Friday. I keep trying to go but always rains. Yet APPARENTLY it has been the driest August for like 20 years. Getting harder to go next few months as i got my wedding coming up in Nov!

Will be out Thursday night at hallam kebabs possibly to stalk some other forum. Then Friday night to see some SA members come out (hopefully) on the hwy.

Is it going to be your wedding car with stockies on the back?

I'd try and find the rims for the back or even the same ones in 19s if you really love them? Not sure if you realise that a 305/35-20 would be huge!! you need a tiny side wall to have roughly the same rolling diameter. I'm sure if you set your car up better and put wider rears on you could get traction with 18/19 inch wheels...

Sucks the amount of times Calder has been cancelled lately!! (not that i wanted to go anyway) Gotta love the weather!

gf age is almost accurate. She just turned 23 :P

She bought an FPV shirt from sandown 500.....was mad! :) :drinks2:

I doubt 305 would fit on the rear without some modification. The 275 is close enough on scraping. If car was any lower, it would scrape the sidewall.

If I were you I would start planning your excuses for ... not running ( washing my hair ).... all over the place ( car too powerfull track can't hold it ) .... car ran 10.6 not 9.9 ( forgot to charge flux capacitor )..... got beat by a 16 second mazda 3 ( had to get boost on the line ) plus many others I haven't thought of yet.

That's the wear I've got. It's now on both wheels. It does look fucking awesome from behind but I'll go 275/285 when I get new tyres (couple of weeks)

Dion informed me a month or so ago that Calder will adapt the new rules shortly....so hopefully sooner rather than later.

Id be happy to get over 140MPH then i can nail the launches.

Will you offer me lifetime free dyno's if i run the 9 CVE at any dyno event you house??

That would be great if they can adopt those rules for late model vehicles, as you can see that there is a fair amount of late model cars dipping into the 10 zone these days.

im in Fiji on honeymoon till next week.

Car is at Dion's just getting some 'touch ups' before Calder on the 14th :) See how quickly i get kicked out.

EJ doesnt want to run me why would he waste his time? Ive gone a new motor, boost, exhaust etc since my 10.5.

We lined up few days after or so at the lights a few times but he didnt want a go sowe all just cruised for rest of night.

Im chasing 9s. 10s are old news!

Nothing against Dion, as he is smart enough to know to be mega careful at Heathcote with a car like that. he would probably be trying to sort the boost control.
That is why Haleys Comet doesn't go to Heathcote.

i can understand why someone would want to have another person race their car to get the best times possible as a benchmark.
clearly icer isn't the worlds best automobile pilot, which is fair enough, so in order for him to have the best times to boast about (:P) he gets someone else to drive occasionally haha.
