I'd be interested to know what (stock) cars you guys would buy if you had the cash and why. I'll set it out like this:

Up to 10k:

Up to 20k:

Up to 50k:

Up to 100k:

If you were a rich b*tch with limitless cash.

Mine would look something like this:

Up to 10k:
EL XR6 - Always wanted an XR6

Up to 20k:
BA XR6T Ute (if I can find one cheap) - Practical for me and and same reason as above

Up to 50k:
Import r34 Skyline - mrs. wants one, I wouldn't mind one

Up to 100k:
2007 Mustang - They're rare in Aus, I love the look and they sound mean

Limitless:
Lamborghini Murciélago - If I had that much money, I'd want something people would recognise.

EL XR6 - (gotta copy you there)

Up to 20k:
BA XR6T (not a fan of utes, but want a BA turbo)

Up to 50k:
GT-P BF (there are a few around for just under 50 :p)

Up to 100k:
XA GT falcon pro 83 ( nothing like the raw of a V8, should be able to get it under 100k)

Limitless:
Bugatti Veyron for speed alone

Up to 10k: My car as it is now.

Up to 20k: My car as it will be within the next 12 to 18 months.

Up to 50k: MK-II BA XR6 Turbo - 6 speed manual - with $20000 worth of mods - ooh and it has to be Rapid (yellow) or Lightning Strike (silver) with the black 19" Typhoon optional wheels of that era.

Up to 100k: Silver Bullet - Nizpro Typhoon. They come with a conservative 400rwkw...

And if you lost to one, I reckon you could tune the Veyron up a bit - 1200 or 1300hp should be achievable IMHO

And, given that few cops would really be able to identify a Veyron (esp one doing over the triple-ton) I reckon you'd get away with going very very fast in Australia, late at night when there is no traffic. And if I had limitless cash anyway, I'd hire VW's top speed bowl for a week, with several hundred litres of fuel and many, many sets of tyres, and take my mates for 400+joyrides
