AU XR front conversion

Hi,

Quick one, any tricks involved in fitting AU XR headlights, indicators and bumper to a standard forte?

Yeah you need the guards to or a nut sert kit because 2 bolts in each side go in to the gaurds and only xr's have the nut serts in the guards.

can you just bolt the thing on..any way?

of course ya can.... you might need to tek screw it in a couple of spots, but heaps of people have fitted xr fronts to other falcons.
make sure its a low series au/low series bonnet

Thanks Luxo, yeah i'll have to pick one up. I'm getting a S1 bar and lights soon. Cannot wait..black with red pinstripes no spoiler slammed :D

Imo, I would try and get series 2. Looks wayyy better.

manley rods, sps pistons, billet surecam, gt4202r 1.15, 6boost manifold, 60mm gate, 4" exhaust, nizpro plenum, 80mm throttle body, bosch 2000cc injectors, 2x044, -8 fuel line, standard fuel rail modified -8 in-out. c4 box 3000 stall, standard diff with 31 spline axles, full spool.
477rwkw 24psi. 9.80 @ 145mph

The S2 is very nice but I love the S1 it's more rounded and is so 'tickford' if that makes sense. Plus my AU is marked 1999 hehe

Id swap my S1 front for a s2 front anyday...
