Work done But more problems. Help?

Postby ForgedBAxr6t » April 4th, 2013, 6:09 pm

Recently I just put in my BA xr6t to become "road worthy". Spent a lot, 2k damage to the wallet and now I've noticed another problem...(includes no mods just the usual large bill with many little things that add up).

- A noise that goes low to a higher in pitch the faster you go ( could this be the bearings for the disk brakes ). The Xr6t has somewhat become a money pit. (20-30km low noise) (50-60km mid range noise pitch) (80-100km, high pitch noise. Seems to be coming from the front end of the car, possibly on the right side)

Off topic: Oil?- New engine from 185,000km, currently on 210,000. With forged pistons conrods rated to 1000hp. 15w-40 or 15w-60 or any other suggestions??. Im not getting any information from mechanics because they simply dont know. Im currently using penrite 15w-60. I know stock it should be 15w-40. But it isnt a stock engine anymore...

Any opinions or suggestions would be great. Kind regards Damo

Raise vehicle and spin wheels, hold the spring and you will feel it through the spring if it's bearing

Wheel alignment.

Also, use 15w40 still.
