Getting my car sign written up

Postby vegabass » April 10th, 2013, 10:20 pm

Hi Fellas,

Toying with the idea of getting some signage done to the side of my XR until I buy a new duel cab ute (probably amarok)

Here is a photoshop of what they propose.

Anyone got any ideas?

I wonder how many people would see the advertisment and think... Hey, I'm going to call that guy for a retrim.
If i wanted a retrim i'd just Google it. Or ask someone that has had one done personally.

That aside, the big X definatly grabs attention.

I think the trim and accessories needs to be larger...mostly people will only take notice of the carr and not bother reading underneath. People that know fords will have a certain respect and probably look twice it being an el xr . If I didnt know who you where and I was toying with the idea of new ttim id certainly pick you purely because the car you drive . Keep it bullshit polished and waxed also

Yeh def if a Auto related business is advertised on a rolling billboard it has to be presented well.

I was thinking of moving the "X" which is ment to be a slanted "+" to the rear door, wheel arch, rear 1/4 window. Then make the CARR bit bigger, put the Trim + Accessories much bigger under the red mould.

My wheels look a tad small and looks a bit high in that pic :?

Defs grab heaps of attention like that, strip the window tint so they can observe your 'rolling showroom'?

You should see what my new design is. It will take a while to make but will be different and create mass attention. And no its not white or yellow or some gay scheme you would find in a CRX or Commodore.

Danny, youd be suprised how many people actually call based on seeing a signwritten car.

I get alot of business just from cruising and getting the name out there :)

Maybe time for some wheels on the XR Drew :D
