Au keyfob help needed

Postby dwj351 » April 18th, 2013, 10:03 pm

Hi all

I just brought new keyfob a for my au wagon as I did not come with any. I have followed the process to a tee acc on rear dim mister 3 time with in 5 seconds to activate the Learn mode of the system and nothing it won't let me in so I can reprogram the new fob, I even checked the rear demister to ensure that it worked as I thought there may have been a broken cycle and no problem there,
I have now done a lot of reading on these darn system and just can't find what I need can any one please help

Cheers doug

Are all your actuators all functioning properly. Make sure that you are:

1. Lock all the doors
2. Go to Accessories and press the demister 3 times and wait.
3. Once the locks cycle it's good to go.

If your doing that right and it's still playing up, check the actuators, they can stop it from going into the learn mode. Had a BA do this at work.

Also make sure what Immobolisation you are running Smartlock or SmartShield as they are not interchangeable remote wise.

It's a 2000 with the au2 front however I am unsure if its an au2 as I know the change over happened in 2000 and its an easy upgrade to make s1 look like a s2
