Valve lifters for 3.9/ 4.0lt can we get soild adjustable

Postby wanndy1 » June 4th, 2013, 8:46 pm

Hi guy's i have a Eb falcon drag car running a 3.9lt engine with a EL 4lt large port head, I'm running twin sv-14 blowers at 15psi. My question is can we get solid lifters or better standard ones that will take hi lift cams ??? adjustable would be just the trick.

Hey mate.

Welcome to the forum, your car sounds pretty sweet!

Just some tips, usually things people have asked have been covered before, so try searching before opening a new thread. Also, try open your thread in the relevant area.

I found this thread for you: search.php?keywords=Billet+rockers

Throw a build thread up for your car anyway, it sounds sick!

Tunnel vision performance have Cnc rockers with adjustable lifters etc but they are to suit hybrid el-au head. $2200 for a set.

Otherwise theres hydraulic anti pump-up lifters from atomic that are meant to be preyty good at withstanding hi lift cams or heaps of revs...

Hayden on here has a 600 thou cam and revs it very hard making excellent hp not sure what lifters he is running though.( not adjustable eithier wsy)
Xh falcon turbo. 420rwhp 16 psi.

Chuck some pics up of your car man! Sounds awesome! Is it a project in the making or have you run it down the strip?? Any dyno figures or 1/4 mile times??

Thanks for the help guys . Will load up some pics soon that is as soon as I can work out how too lol. Yes love my car she's so different to most other forced 6 cylinders and sounds grate nothing like the wine that a blower makes. Will take some time to sort her out so far the car has done a best of 10.83 at 127mph , that was mark 1 mark 2 only 11.5 at 116 but sure we can get at least 10.50 that's the goal with the advice you guys will give I'm sure it will be soon oh also got 100hp shot of NOS have yet to try
