looks good buddy. they cleaned up nicely. i hope you're happy with them!
they look much better than they did on mine!

yeah decided not to get it

so melbournes weather is crap tonight as usual so decided to stay home and show the car some love

finally have the kit on and its looking heaps better, will have the shark fin spoiler on soon!
slightest colour difference thats making me think about respraying the whole car but idk.. thoughts?
angel eyes should be next

i remember your car from a photo infront of a ford dealership, thing is cleann! used to love it before i bought one haha

yeah, i love the things! red's such a hard colour to keep clean though...and soo easy to pick colour differences at night time grrrr :p

when i got my tickford kit fitted i was unsure if i wanted to fit the bigger spoiler because it meant drilling extra holes in my boot....but i'm so glad i did it now, gives the car soo much more character

yeah i have the same problem with the differences but only when i point it out to people

it looks absolute mintt, i probably will end up putting it on eventually

btw are your clear indicators off a fairlane? do they have any gaps? i want to put some on mine but i heard they dont fit as good..

yeah, just make sure you make some form of gasket to put under the new spoiler so water doesn't get into your boot :p

i had ghia side moulds painted up in red/black with the chrome strips through them but then i found this bloke so the side moulds are sitting collecting dust haha

just send him an e-mail and he should put a set up on ebay for you

thought id put a throwback pic of my old car and what i settled down for with my el xr6, fair bit of a difference

this is when i got my xr in February, paint was rubbish gave that a cut nd polish, looked like a pig really lmao

and this is what i used to drive prior to settling down with my el after being surrounded by my dads and brothers ticky fairmonts..

so i sold that and got behind the wheel of an e series, love it. although i miss my old car, this ones a keeper

bit of an update

after having poor fuel consumption averaging about 27L/100km, i replaced the o2 sensor which seemed to get it down to the 20L/100km. I also had a hole in my exhaust and was recommended by a near by mechanic to have it replaced as it is on its way out. so i have got myself a few goodies from a mate consisting of,

pacemaker 4499
200 cell cat
lukey 2.5"

exhaust is still on my mates donor car all near new too!, should have it all ready to bolt up in the morning and see how i go, cant wait!

so put in the extractors and exhaust this afternoon, the car feels much more responsive and torquey. the old cat was fked and it was amazing what a difference it made. the sound is also pretty spot on to what i wanted, not too loud not quiet so im really happy with the results. will try to get a clip up of the exhaust cheers

Good stuff on the paceys. They make the bay look nice and as you said you can feel a power gain!

Just hope the cops don't pull you up if your still on Ps

And same ive been on Ps for 3 years now amd only been pulled over once and they never checked under the hood thank god.

Have you decieded to sign up for the sandown v8 supercar display weekend?
Its in the event section. I went last year and its a good weekend to meet afew new people and get the car out!

fkn worst day of my life with this car, the fuel pump decided to die during traffic hour :banghead:

, so i spent my whole night replacing it, done the injectors too while i was at it and the results were better fuel economy.. wtfffffffffff and the car fires up perfectly now.. has a different idle to it aswell
