Ef engine losing coolant

Postby EL Mont-ster » June 12th, 2013, 2:02 pm

My ef engine is loosing coolant slowly... The back of the block is stained, and sometimes I can see a tiny wet patch at the back of the block, although I cannot pinpoint the leak. At the front of the block between the head and block when the gasket is it looks like it is wet but no coolant is dripping... This has my head done in! I have not lost any power since noticing it was chewing some coolant. I cannot find any wet patches around the new water pump or any hoses. The coolant seems to look fine and the oil looks normal. I was thinking about putting some stop leak through the system in hope I can make the 3 hour journey home from university next week.
Thanks in advance guys.
