New uprights: WHERE the HELL do I get them?

Postby Rollin » December 16th, 2013, 9:19 pm

I remember seeing new uprights available on ebay a while back but I'm stuffed if I can find them again.

Can anyone point me to somewhere I can get them? For EB/D...

Do you mean those remanufactured ones with new ball joints? I think you can get them through bursons or repco?

Or do you mean new old stock?

Lol so do I
Have to do it on a pension.
It usually works out cheaper to replace your ball joints at a cost of $ 200 fitted ;)

do they bend easily?
i ran over a gutter at 100ks and it noticeably changed the ride height on that one wheel lol.
i replaced the LCA, ball joints and strut, didn't think the upright would bend from that though.
its only a small difference now.

haha sweet as, i was worried the whole front 1/4 of the car had been shifted up (which it may have!) but i'd say the upright is well bent.

Yeah at that speed it had enough force to smash the upper arm upwards and dent the shocker tower lol. Pretty sure the shock is knackered after that!

Dad ran the XG into a gutter the other day after getting grumpy at me, bent the front end upwards a bit. Different suspension though.
