Until further notice, this is the home of the eseries owners club.
The original!

It is hoped that we will stay here and that eseries.com.au will become much more integrated with this site then it currently is.

Yay!

So I take it you'll somehow manage to "migrate" such E-Series threads like "E-Series Members Cars Profiles" and "Tutorial Tech 1.2" etc etc to here?

I don't know if i'll have much of a chance to migrate those kinds of thrads over.
its essentially a massive copy paste which will end up looking fiarly avaerage.

anything we can get over here would be advantageous, but i think we'll use this as an opportunity to start fresh.

Start fresh = very good plan, IMHO.

There are a number of tech articles on eseries.com.au, perhaps if anyone thinks there is anything really worth migrating from the old forum, we can put it together as a tech article? Happy to do the work if people want it done.

Good work John,
I like having the e-series and boostedfalcon site together as everyone owns eseries boosted or not.
Having the seperate areas for boosted and NA helps keep everyone on the same site, which helps everyone that knows each other to communicate effectively and share ideas/knoweledge without having to go from site to site!
I hope that we can bring this club up to the high standard it was and should always be!

so is boosted and eseries both using a common tech section and workshop section?
can i suggest a newbie section for all the common little questions that annoy so many people.

glad to have our own forums. i think it will be alot better as it can be a bit more relaxed compared to aff.

A newbie section would work best in a 'root' or the default area, the first board you visit. If you catch my drift. Half the problem is that the newbie dosen't bother to search out the right place to post, but just dumps it in the general section. Example being tech threads in the general section on 'the other place'.

Well crafted stickies and getting the balance between searching and thead mining drummed into members may also help keep the crap down to a minimum.

Hopefully this will see the club get back to it's roots, the vibe I got from the club was a laid back social place. Not bothered with formalities.

It should be nice to see the eseries.com.au site used more too.

Good news to see the club have a home again.

I just thought of something semi related, what about having two workshop build sections one for the normal cars like mine and one for the boosted/serious performance cars?

can allways let the poster decide. most of us will know if we ever realistically will have a boosted or high performance car.
is better then no separation at all i suppose.
i was saying to a mate today. i tend to pay more attention to builds with smaller mods that i can actually do one day. where as turbo build threads intrest me less as i will never get to do it. in the next few years anyway.
