so good to be out of AFF

Postby -jjM- » August 6th, 2007, 8:41 pm

Even if i've been over here since the begining of these new forums, its just good to see it out of there, was becoming too much over there....

What do other E-Series members think? Yay for boosted or nay for boosted, remember, nay means ban ;)

So this is where you've all gone!

I was thinking what the hell is this "EA-NL Ford Club" crap, the name sounds awful. I had to hunt out where the original E-series had gone.

Good to see you all alive and well here :D

I wish I could see the traffic statistics for the site. Russellw reckons that E-series is only 9% of the site.

I reckon that has to be way off. More like 50%.

Keep in mind that that 9% is for posts in E-Series only. How bout those active E-Series members who also post elsewhere? ;) So I reckon you're on the right track there, although 50% is optimistic. Maybe 15-20%.

Have a look at the total threads in E-Series - 14,000 compared with a 8,900 in Pub and 7,300 in the Bar.

I think it's fair to say we make (made) up a large quantity of the posts / threads on that site, considering our General discussion area was more active than the whole forum's general discussion area.

I reckon 25-40% is more on the money.

i recon its 100% we make the world turn around in there, were are the topic of discussion just about everywhere in that forum, dark room being our "reflection of our topics" forum, as well taking up the for sale section, aufalcon kents coming over all the time, and plenty of others from around the forum

without E-Series, australia would not excist...

i just roughly added up the total posts.
the eseries section alone is 25% of the entire forum.
there is nearly 1.5 million posts across the board i think.

so add on all the posts that eseries members have done in other sections it is at least 35% eseries. if not more.

ever since the whole thing happened, i was keeping my eye on both sites to see which one would look like a better place to be, and it looks like this one is the winner. how could it not be with a T&C like it has. Double thumbs up for the people behind E-Series Owners Club.

LOL!

They should put in their conditions "Please ensure you bring a letter from your insurance stating that you are covered for third party incidents. Also ensure you have a current Roadworthy Certificate (or similar, depending on your State or Territory's regulations). Administrators of the ANAL club will check these documents before allowing you to enter on to public roads that we don't own. Thankyou, that is all."

    It's quite easy.

EA-NL cruises will require council permits. The cars will be towed to the meet point, at which time all cars will be sealed in a bubble to prevent any possible form of human contact. The next few hours will be spent ensuring all the paperwork is in order. Maybe a few RWC inspections, provided they can be done within the bubble.
