Great to see another boosted 5.0 on here!

Speed limited 1/4? Sif not have a speed limiter remover!

Car looks fantastic mate.

i don't drive it that fast so i haven't worried about the speed limiter
i just bought a 23 tooth speedo drive gear to replace the stock one so this will help my speedo error down to about 10% not 20% where it is now but that will give me a limit of 100mph so i guess i'll still hit limiter on the 1/4...we'll see

dam man dont u just wanna get rid of the speed limiter for one 1/4 run.
just take the speedo gear off so u got no speedo and then it cant limit at that speed then put it back in wen finished.
has it ever been on a dyno? wat boost u running and how much did the turbo kit cost u?
cheers josh.

i think if i take the speedo drive out it will jump into limp mode
shiftkits.com does a speed limit removal but the contact email provided doesn't work
i guess i'll have to bite the bullet and fit a proper aftermarket ECU
i dyno'd it just after i bolted the turbo on and it did 181rwkw with 3psi boost and now i'm running 8psi boost and more fuel and can definatley feel it so it should be over 200rwkw at least
it made 210rwkw on a dead stock 5.0l with stock dual 2.25in pipes. i ditched to old system for a single 3.5in all the way

and i'm selling it to buy a house and stop spending money on it...but i want a proper 1/4 run before i sell it and i'd love to do summernats in it next year but we'll see

shiftkits.com.au email not working? Weird, I bought a smartlock bypass through them last week via their email/ordering service. Give them another shot ;)

the nice guys at streetfords featured this in their mag last issue (#46) still available for a few weeks
anyway its still for sale i'm after $10k has full 12 months rego on it and nothing to spend unless you want all out power then you'll need an ECU and some big injectors
has 217rwkw on 8psi which is great on the street....plenty of power the fry the tyres
if i can't get $10k for it i'll strip the turbo off and use it as my daily driver but that would be a shame as the body is awesome for a 1991 EB and has not yet got any dings at all (couple of stone chips but i do drive with a car bra on trips)
