Halve the price & you'll be in the ballpark area for what EDs typically sell for. Nice tidy example you've got though.

$3750 (my "half" figure) is still on the high side for a base model ED Falcon, regardless of the condition. Even ED Fairmont Ghias struggle to sell for that.

You won't sell it for $5k, especially on ebay.

Yeah its a bit high, newer e-series are going for less in good condition.

I've seen a couple of AU's in as good condition as that for that price.

AUs are ugly as shit thats why they go cheap.

My EF I brought just after the head was done etc, for 1800, my xr6 3200

Hit your head against the wall.

VTs go for 4000-5000km with 220k, and they are a lot more refined than an ED but they are a Commodore.

You dont make money on cars

The respray set me back about $600 for paint and materials. The rest was my time and labour, I did it from start to finish. Was a stock ed falcon when i bought it...

It looks mint... however you have to wonder how many people are out there that will want to buy an ED with 255000kms.

Your best bet is to target clueless P-platers after their first car ;)

$5000 didn't seem 'that' bad to me. Of course, a buyer will want to pay as little as possible and it's a bit of a shame it's only a base model but it's still a nice car.
Paint looks sweet man.
