RLYKTY - keep it on topic

Postby Commando » May 22nd, 2008, 8:42 am

Original (well, 2nd) thread removed. Rally_Katty I've merged all of your "progress" posts into the one below.

I let the previous thread run its course last night, it's obvious it'll always turn downhill into an off-topic shitfight. Here's thread #3, another "clean start". If this thread turns to shit, I'll remove it too.

Bagging her car is fine if you don't like it, but let's leave the whole Pink Copyright <tm> / Lockie/Braden vs The World / other crap out of it. If you don't like the car, either bag it & keep it on topic, or not post at all. Seeing a thread where 1 in 20 posts is actually about the car itself is shitful.

I didn't take many pics at all then i thought i did but ya can see how dirty it was!

Well until i can be bothered buying the paint to match my personalized plate and taping i all up and that then it will be better... Ok... But atm it will do for now until i have time to get into detail!

i scrubbed it out with a bucket of water maybe about 4 times... it took me 2 weeks straight! and within them two weeks i wasnt even sure if my parents were going to buy me the car... coz it was my uncles car my aunty needed to sell it so i offered to clean it all up ready for sale as well as hoping parents would see how much effort i put into cleaning it they would buy me it for my early 21st birthday! he he

Only took me a few hours to do... Umm gotta do the back bits another day seeings i be flat out all this week so hopefully at night i can do a little bit at a time...
But this is what i have done so far... check it!

Image

Dont worry it can be taken off and put back to original

parcel tray staying the same.... pink door fluff i think not!!!!! i putting in different material... kinda blends in with door.... but there pink with it!
Nah no painting on the inside.... Dash is staying original... but i got an idea for something thats on the dash... but shhhh not telling...

Just ganna paint my front grill thingy when i can be bothered taking it out.... Maybe some of the engine coz i can!!!! Umm darkest legal tint.... Ummm 18" rims! and my subwoofa dude!Clear rear lights and side repeaters.... and i think i done.... yer thats it... done! I might add to list maybe!

(my seating material is) stitched in!Hope to work on the back bits on wednesday when not working...

Atm i cant be fucked paitning it... i will paint it when i can be bothered going to the trouble... And the paint shop need my personal plate to match the colour... like what the...??? their meant to be paint professionals... (cant give them plate coz its got the one way screws)

Image

Image

Image

From the leftover camo i am ganna make a dress for hello kitty :P

Gotta finish the last head rest!
Image

My steering lock and better colour car mats
Image

All ready to go in!!!
Image

Got clear side repeaters now... the orange clash with the pink! Thanks to Ratman off Fordmods... dunno if he on here too!

Photos done by my phone cam mind the pixels lol

Image

Image

Image

Image

THEN.....
Image
NOW!!!!

Yeah I made a stencil and sprayed over the top! Removed the DNA badge, is now on braidy's fridge... Thanks to Lockie for pullin it off coz he was bored lol...

Lockie loving the ride to get some KFC
His top and the pink clash bad!
Image

Matching 6x9 for the sub box! Hello Kitty style!
Image

Yer i made a stencil from book covering and sprayed it... takes some time cutting the stencils specially the one for the 6x9's, but the 6x9 stencil was easy to position... the Sub box wasnt coz it kept rolling up and not sitting flat...

Next things are tinted windows... dunno bout clear tail lights as yet!(people saying they look crap) and rims... most of all RIMS!

I put in this neon that flashes to the beat its wicked!

i have pink neons in it now!HA HA i think its funny... I got one on each side of the car in that bit between the doors under the seat belt! and one under the head unit that flashes to the music!

Yes i thought so too!

Here is what i did with the left over camo!

Image

And here are my neons and my interior light is pink

slam it on stockies until you can afford rims, and remove the spoiler (slammage as a minimum, please). not really a fan of the pink, stands out alot against the grey, but each to there own.

Pink globes in your dash too maybe?
And some pink tyre dye so when you do burnouts the smoke will be pink! woohhoo
And a pink window tint. Ooh, and pink condrods would be awesome as well.
Maybe a pink driver's license? Pink hair, Pink house, pink life

Be happy to hear I have started work on my car! Starting at the back then the front then the sides as well as touching up some gun metal grey parts that have been marked or scratched only the ones that are obvious... The bonnet will have to be resprayed completely coz of stone chips so we will have to do that another time when we can pull the bonnet off!
