I don't know Huffin6 from a bar of soap, but it looks to me like an AU engine with a serp belt & BBM, some form of centrifugal blower (non-intercooled), and nitrous.

Judging by the auto dipstick he's got an EA-EF1, or has retrofitted an earlier auto into an EFII-EL.

Well it has a EA head, BA pistons and rods, forger style NOS system, so the fuel enrichment must come from an after market ECU, with indy blue injectors + malpassi fuel reg. + the nos will act as an intercooler and keep the inlet temps down.

Good work I wold like to see the car, to see what else you have done to it.

On a second look the nos has a fuel jet, so it is not a forger system.

My heatshield was made before anyone had one, everyone on FM caned it, now they copy it, had it made when the extractors were fitted 2 years ago.

No someone in the workshop where it is being tuned decided to lower the hoist, bumping a toolbox which in turn hit a workshop trolley which hit my car, and the front bib spoiler is cracked, so front end needs some TLC.

Nice setup man. Do you think you will need to use some sort of intercooler to sort the detonation issues? If it were me I would at least want some intercooling.
Thanks Mick for your appreciation

Work still goes on, the tuff BTR9LE transmission, running full synthetic Auto trans has gone in and the engine has been replaced due to a leanout on Cylinders 1 and 6, we are now looking at air flow measurements on each runner and extrusion honing to balance the runners out if neccesary.

Some EGT testing will require some modified extractors to fit temp sensors and some more dyno time to see if we got it right is also needed, then we can spend some time on the road

A new set of CP pistons that have been ceramic coated on the top and anti friction coating on the skirts have also been fitted, havent had too much joy with JE Pistons, at least it seems so, not to say they are a bad piston mind you.

Thanks to Roy Velardi, Sam Hollier for the spread and Nick for the photo shoot.

Oh I have another project..... an XB Falcon.... Looks like another spread in 3 or so years, maybe both cars.
