OMG I love threads about Ballarat.

Big W is nothing to what it was when I was a young hoonigan in that town. Randel Smith Rolling through the wall at Big W, Randel Smith running his car into the loading dock at Big W after he hit a bunch of oil.

Kents running into sign posts and brickwalls because they thought the Oil was water. Then a truck rolled over, that killed the oil.

Theres something you got to get right about Ballarat, Its a bogan town. So Ill do some calcuations for you

Town + Bogans = Bogan Town
Bogan Town + Cars = Old Commodores
Bogans + Old Commodores = Really shit cars doing laps.
Really shit cars doing laps = Ballarat

Katty there was a fair few e-series drivers in Ballarat years ago, I know Tom and his Brother converted from Magnas to E-series. And the car park in Mt Helen they are possibly refering too is there work car park, EG IBM lol thats where we ust to meet up.

XR8Chic still lives in Ballarat as much her XR8 - JETV8 is possibly the best e-series in ballarat (Find out more at http://www.xr8chic.com), she doesnt do laps thou. Even her wagon MSFORD is alright. And JETV8 would be the most powerful E-series in ballarat and with the most expensive clutch lol as I killed her Ford one at Drag Tag and Mal Wood sent her a new one for free.

lol that XR8chic has the mustang, she used to be on WVCC , she went to buy my 289 off my dad and had a sook and said that it didnt look like a good engine because it was a dirty didnt have anything to do with the fact that it had recently been rebuilt and had been sitting in a shed for over a year , started first time ran like a dream with no oil leaks or oily smoke, she thought it was bad coz it was a little dirty on top  ......IMO IDIOT

Hey Katty!! I joined!! I still have yet to see your car in the flesh!! Although seeing it on TV was pretty cool.
Are you going to the meeting on Friday?? If so - bring it along!! I am gonna be there!!!!

Hi Alesia - I think you must have me confused with someone else. I never looked at any local cars - the only ones I looked at were in the USA (heaps cheaper to buy from there - especially with the aussie dollar going so strong). And the 69's never came in a 289 option, so I defiantly never emailed anyone about a 69 fastback with a 289 in it.

Heyy XR8Chic, Seen your car at Midvale and Summernats a couple of times... My cars pretty much similar in looks, only not as neat! Slowly getting there though! Would love to have a closer look and a chat some time! Cheers, Shan.

Doh - stupid spell check!!

ok.... I will correct... I definitely have never been to colac (or even know where it is), never met alesia or her father, and never wanted to buy a 289 motor. :)

Alesia - maybe you have me confused with the girl from WVCC with the mustang, cant remember her name, but remember drooling over pics of it.

Hey Sundeep - were you on FF years ago?? I havent been there for ages, but I remember someone over there with the same username from about 4/5 years back.
