Hey everyone,

My name is Sam, im 18, Live in Brisbane and I drive a 1992 ED (I Think) Falcon. It's nothing special, at the moment it's stock except for a sports exhaust but I plan to work on it a fair bit :). I used to drive a 92 Corolla and the power from the falcon compared to the corolla is ALOT better. Hope everyone goes easy on me im a bit of a noob and im here to learn so don't flame me if I ask something stupid.

I hope to chat to you all at some stage and would like to get to know people.

Here's a pic of the car:

Cheers,

Welcome mate :)

Looks nice & clean! It's either an EBII or an ED (EBII if 1992, EBII or ED if 1993-1994).

Hope you enjoy your time here. What are your plans for the car?

Hey,

Just plan to lower it a bit and put some nicer rims on it, Thermo fan upgrade, re-tint the windows and thats about it really.

Haha yeah I got not idea about the tickford badge either. That and the bathurst edition sticker on the side lol.

The car is really loud when you fire it up.....mainly cos it ran like shit cos it had a blocked cat so i took it off and smashed the inside out :) got a shock after it was cleared i swear it doubled in power.

I have a two questions though:
1: What's the stud pattern (ie 5x100 or 5x114.30 and offset?
2: whats the easiest way to lower it and what products are best (ie King Springs)

114.30, 0 offset

Any lowered springs will do the job, get shocks to match if going Superlows or lower ;)

Thanks heaps that will assist me when I purchase new rims.

As for the springs i'd probably go king lows or equivalent i dont want it too low.

Hey everyone,

I actually bothered to check the built plate on the car and it IS and ED it was built 11/93.

Oh and as for offset of the wheels i've never heard of 0 offset most rims are like +40 45 etc. Is this gonna make it hard to find rims?

It's not too bad, I just hit something and put a nice size hole in the bottom of the front bar.

Can't remember what i hit actually haha,

Plan is to get some 18's, tinted windows, lowered a bit, better sound system and until my salary goes up then that'll be about it.

Oh and i'll be getting the Thermos done on it in the next few weeks. I'll take a video or sound recording next weekend so you can hear the exhaust, apparently it's rather loud and annoys the neighbours when i floor it up the street.
