160 was while he was running the engine in, which he had to keep under 3000rmp for 1000kms, then keep it under 4500 for next 2 i think...
so wouldnt really be that much of a worry

hey guys, little update.
yes the bottom end has been rebuilt. only made 155rwkw when running it in. i was a bit worried too, havent had it tuned yet as the unichip has gone missing? was told it had one when i got it, but we cant find anything other than the stock cpu  i do have other plans for it now, which will be revealed hopefully within the next month, aslong as funds allow

another update
charger now has upgraded internals... new impeller, shimmed, ceramic bearings, smaller pulley.
Also a 3 inch exhaust, 500cc injectors, bigger BOV(38mm), microtech computer, custom s/steel intake piping. will put up a photo of the engine bay when i get a chance to take a pic.
pulled 204.3rwkw @8psi and around 560nm of torque

yeah heaps of room to move bottom end wise, the problem is that when i rebuilt the bottom end i got it rebuilt for 20psi. So the current pressure going in there isnt enough, ive maxxed out the charger now so i think the only alternative is a bigger charger... Wont be any time soon though, maybe end of next year. anyone interested in buying this charger set-up? Preferably another i6, so its a straight easy fit.

charger upgrade was if i remember right, around $1500-$2000, somewhere around there
injectors, cpu and intake went in at the same time around $3000
3 inch, vernier gear and tune were all at the same time and were almost $1500
BOV was around $150-$200(discount)
so it was a very costly upgrade lol

nah not working heaps anymore, just saving well... Im still at the same place, its good, just need more money haha the usual story.
If anyone is interested, this charger set-up might be up for sale around the end of next year, will be sold as a complete kit so it can fit straight onto an i6 with bbm manifold with very few other adjustments. Anyone interested?

auto finally died last week, been shifting hard and neutralising itself for quite some time now and last tuesday the stall finally gave up. It wanted to drive itself at 4000rpm constantly, including changing gears. Was going 80kmph and it was acting as if its got a cruise control and holding the brakes at lights was also a hard job, not to mention the loud metal on metal scraping sound coming from it too.
So off to the shop and now getting new trans installed, including stage 2 shift kit astrengthened internals and a 3200 dominator stall
cant wait to see how it drives when it comes back.

it doesnt matter if its standard or not, the supercharger doesnt make it rev any more than a standard motor, its just gona rev alot harder, I assume his motor is standard stroke and hasnt been de-stroked, so its only going to rev to the limiter which lets say is 5,500 rpm, 3,500-5,500 rpm isnt alot of revs that are usuable on the street and can be driven with being a pig to drive, but defintely a good shift kit would make it alot better in day to day driving, but I must say a 3,500 stallie it would be good for skids though, lol

c4 idea went out the window when i found my next setup will be close to its power limit if not over, so if i was to get it installed i would want to strengthen it more, but then i found this 4 speed which isnt much more. The extra gear would be good. 3200 isnt really that high when you think about most na stalls are 2500-2700. it is 500 more but its when my power band really starts. Its not such a pig to drive especially if you get the variable ones, which i dont think mine is haha should have got one

for a car with a cetri s/c 3200rpm seems fine to me.
the higher in the RPM you can launch the car the higher/quicker you get into boost.

it useto, belts didnt last much longer than 6 months without going, but then we changed some of the pulley arrangements and this belt has lasted me almost a year now and still looks fine. I did carry a spare, but now i dont, i just have a spare at home as its not a normal off the shelf belt and needs to be ordered in and usually takes a few days to get

It wasnt so bad just looked like a lowered falcon with rims really, but the p plates arent up anymore now anyway so now i dint think it gets much attention at all except for the loud exhaust can attract every now and then if its been i the revs a little

Car got hit by a truck while i was at work last week. They thought theyd cut the corner and did it a little too much. To make it worse they just drove off and didnt leave a note or anything, also didnt even get seen doing it either so im stuck paying for it all dammit.

I saw a truck reverse into a car (AU Wagon) the other day, outside of South Melbourne Tyre Factory. The prick uped and drove off. The guys inside tyre factory pretended they didnt see it. I wrote the trucks details and the time of the accident on a note and stuck it under the car's wiper. Kents.

Good luck with getting it repaired... headlights and guard look ok, you might be able to get out of it with a new bumper and headlight surround?

Hoping this kinda mod will catch on... Just give it a few months and all the vl turbos will start copying my new style. Adds power too, speed holes!
WORKD-6 herrod special EF XR6 was supercharged 204.3rwkw at 8 psi
now turbo with GT42 249.8rwkw at 13psi... Soon to be boosted up more once problems are sorted.
