sorry mate but that amp will not power that

not even close,

that sub is 750 rms, the amp is 200 rms at 2 ohms not even close.

you need atleast 600 rms kyle and then you still wont reach its full potential. 750+rms would be better

Sorry mate, but that amp will power the sub fine. It is actually rated at 300 watts rms at 2 ohms. You don't want to run more than 750 watts rms through a sub that is only rated for 750 watts rms. If anything you should run it slightly lower than the recommended maximum to be safe.

Stop pretending you know your stuff and spinning your bullshit that is 100% crap.

what ever idiot,

why the hell do you think it has an RMS rating for? its what it is RECCOMENDED TO RUN AT

[quote="BROCKYB8"]HEY GUYS TIME TO CLEAN OUT THE SHED .

ALPINE mono block amp .- Powers the subs above easy
mrd m300
$250
Image

read the ebay add, 200 RMS @ 2 ohms

http://cgi.ebay.com/Alpine-MRD-M300-MON ... dZViewItem" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

if you seriosuly think that using a 200 rms amp to run a 750 rms DVC sub is ok then you have no idea

Jimmy, it's so you don't blow your speaker(s) running off the amp.

24 hour ban for being a douche. Let's get the thread back on topic.

F.ck you're stupid Jimmy. If you were such an audiophile whiz kid you would either a) know you're shit, or b) have a decent fucking car audio setup. What do you think the 300 stands for in MRD 300? They're mostly under rated from factory too, but then again you probably don't know what a birth certificate is. You're a fucking spanner.

RMS Continuous Power @ 14v (1% THD), per channel into 2 ohms: 300Wx1

Sorry Kyle :) Nice door trims! Seriously :D
