Sucks about the canary mate, but your car looks so damned mint with those wheels on it. Hopefully you will get it cleared easy enough. I fail to see how a low car is a danger to other motorists, but you get that.

Nah man only on hard bumps under acceleration and that's not even much starts to do it when I get more then 1 person in the back more often though,
Depends what I have the konis set on too

Chasing a front end knock in this thing lately pretty sure its the rack so ill swap that out soon.
Also changed the rear lower control arms, put a new rocker cover gasket, steering intermediate shaft, power steering pump, throttle cable, cruise cable, cruise module, brake pressure switch
That's as I cleared the defect lol
Then I chopped 1 1/2 coils off the stock springs so next time its not so bad haha Image

staunchxr wrote:ahh well thats alright least yours is good lol. how come you changed the rear control arms? what setting are yours on right up the front or towards the back? going to get new shocks for mine i reckon thats the problem funny i was cutting springs today aswell lol
Just changed the lower one man pretty sure the upper control arm is all the way to the back. Put an aftermarket nolathane lower control arm in meant to be better then stock

Cars looking mint, height looks great. How do you find the ride and handling with the kings cut in the rear?? Does it get a bounce up like cut standard springs or do the konis make up for it?? I wanna chop my SSLs the guard is sitting too far off the FTRs haha

Thanks mate handles fairly good although I don't push it very hard, no bounce in the rear at all even with the konis set to the softest setting they are still pretty firm it's pretty bouncy ATM with the cut standard springs and shocks In it the cops are still blitzing up here so they are in it because its still over 100mm so I won't get defected again

Cheers for that.. I'll give the springs a trim and wind the konis up a bit and should be sweet..

Only trouble with hiding the wiring on e series is it shows of how goddamn ugly the shock towers are...

Lol yeah they aren't the best looking tower but I'd prefer the tower then messy wires and old yellow coolant reservoir

So I sold this and brought an 02 au ute ute's more practical for me ATM here she is it's an opt 20 (ex cop) has 406,xxxks but reco motor and box,has an lsd, interior is clean as 3 seater column auto, passenger airbag, came lowered but ill be putting standard suspension back in, probably put some 16" stockies on it aswell, has 5 months rego, standard tail lights will be in it aswell, drives so much smoother then then the el too. Will be converting it to LPG aswell ImageImage

Looks nice. What are you planning on doing with it? It sits real nice and looks smick on those wheels.

Nothing man just want to use it as a daily and I want to save for a f6 so this is practical if I want to wreck more cars or buy a few repairable write offs and fix and I can tow my boat and take it to the river
