Nah, Group A I believe was the homologation model for Bathurst or something, limited edition anyway. Had a worked 215kw 5 litre and 80s Corvette 6 speed and LSD.

And the first exhaust flange on the extractors was about 3 inches from the head (that's right, there are 8 flanges which bolt the first section of the extrators to the second section) to sneak past the 'no modifications of the exhaust ahead of the first flange' rule.

In theory and in the early 90s, they weren't bad. 215kw was pretty decent.

However, a turbo'd otherwise stock 4 litre from the early 90s is capable of a lot more than that...therefore I DGAF.

I've worked on too many 5 litres (and early commodores in general) to have even the slightest shred of desire for any single part, and I'm pretty sure you'll find 99% of Holden techs feel the same way.

i love the fact that an EA on 7 pound makes more than a full house 5 litre without running c16 or meth, even with 1000cfm t/b and carby style manifold...

6 days after buying the car ive already snapped an axle and complained non stop about the spool.... new diff on monday hopefully

The best thing you can do is pull the motor out of that, sell it as a shell, and put the motor into a proper boxcar.

Snapped an axle already! Mine have lasted about a month so far with the mini-spool in mine, they are a pain in the arse but hella fun when you put the foot down. :grin:

i dunno ive rode in a couple of vn`s in my short life span

lol but in my apionion PS dont listen 2 me 2 cents if it offends some people but i find sumthing i dunno unsettling and plastic and tacky about the the cabin of the car and i have seen alot vn`s and been in a few vn`s that come into were work (mostly for gearbox repairs )and i have rode in them and the cabins in them are basicly falling apart and i have seen alot with hugs splits/cracks in the dash boards i dunno maybe its just me but yeah excuse my 2 cents if it ofends i dont me a ofend just me opinion

i dunno mabye your vn might be diffrent
