was talking to a guy who lives in my area who has a few e series fords and on his 92 eb II he actually had BA/BF side indicators that are a better fit than the AU ones he reckons. did any one know of this mod? might take a pic next time im there.

I actually like the black EB Grill.

It looks right somehow and works well with the front bar.

I would be interested in seeing a pic of the BA side indicator on an E Series.

I think you have your AU ones in backwards.

To fit in facing front you have to mod the guard a bit behind the side strip.

got the exhaust tip extended out from under the rear bar at dandy exhausts.they put a 3.5" tip on.

yeh the guy was insured luckily. iv been to one panel shop and they said it may be a few thousand to fix, and may be a write off. yeh just when i had the full kit on this happens, shit! plus its my daily so i may not have a car for a while. front drivers door is pushed in preetty bad and window only comes down half way. i can still drive the car thou.

bort my eb in 2004 wid 184,000 on the clock... for $6200. fuk hate to think wat i have spent on it since then.! lol LPG GAS conversion cost me $3000 after getting a 2k rebate from gov. i have spent about 2400/$2500 on bodykit alone.

im with AAMI but i only have third party insurance. the guy who hit me is with AAMI as well , luckily he is fully insured!

the reason i only have 3rd party insurance is because the car is not worth much market value and also im running spacers on the wheels , so insurance could knock my claim back because they are illegal in vic. just not worth paying $800 odd bucks for full insurance a year.funning enough when i first bout the car in 2004 the car was insured for 7k market value back then, but that was over 8 years ago.dont know what its worth now.

does any body know wat ratio is my L.S.D IN MY EB SERIES 1 FAIRMONT GHIA 302 from factory. it has been a good diff in the time iv had it, no troubles , but dont know if it was rebuilt at some stage from previous owner.

Some were 3.23 and i think a few were 3.28 i think not too sure on the 3.28

There should be a sticker on the diff saying what ratio it is.

Nope no sticker on boxcars. That is an EF/EL thing.

There should be a tag on a bolt on the diff hat that has the ratio stamped into it, and/or another tag on the oil fill bolt with the ratio and LSD warning on it.

Ratio should be either 3.23 or 3.27. I have seen both in 4l Ghia's so is a bit of a mixed bag.

Bad news re the damage.

As far as I know, as your car is insured third party, the other persons insurance company shouldn't have any say over if it gets written off or not.

got some new rear tyres, went bit wider with austyre 245/30/20. picked em up in a place in dandy for 140 each. fitted and balanced.

dropped the eb off today to get assessed, apparently they are fixing it and paying me for one tyre which was damaged on the side wall in the accident. hopefully they do a good job reparing it.

some good news, insurance sent me a cheque for $280, for 2 new rear tyres.one tyre was damaged with a cut in the side wall from the accident.i replaced one and bought a matching pair. the wheel has been sent away for repairs.plus win for me .lol

went to check my car today at panel shop. both rhs doors are in primer, ready to be sprayed tommorow.car should be ready by end of friday nite. will post some pics up soon. door moulds are being sprayed white as well.
