What revs are you getting @ 110 and with what gearbox?

I usually pull 2200 @ 110 and 2k @ 100 with the T5 and a 3.45 diff.

Ah thats not too bad. There's some formula for diff gears and revs at certain RPMs but 2500 is really not that bad for 4.11

original rpm @ set speed (ie 100kph) / old diff ratio * new diff ratio = new rpm @ set speed ;)

2500ish? Dya have low-profile stockies on the back or something Josh?

When I had the original low-profile drift-spec rubber on the 16s (the rims were off an RX7), the car's gearing was way shorter, I think I calculated it to be around the 4.3 ratio rather than 4.11. Plus it scraped like it was on superlows.

I'd look at that as:

1650 / 3.08 * 4.11 = ... (busts out the little calculator program in the Start bar)... 2200rpm :)

Well, going the other way around (with your 2500rpm)

1650 / 2500 * 4.11 = old ratio = 2.71 :? I think either your 1650 or your 2500 rpm readings are skewiff. I'm tipping it's your 1650rpm reading.

I reckon you were probably doing around 1800-1900rpm before the diff swap (high 1800s = 3.08 ratio based on your 2500@100 for 4.11 ratio estimate)

do you know how far out ya speedo is?
mine was out by at least 20kmh at 100.
use a jaycar speedo corrector. mine is set perfect to gps accuracy now.

dave mines jus got 205/65 or what ever they are.
standard dunlop things.

i only get 350 k to a tank. but thats 350 k of pure joy :D

it depends mate, on what the overall rolling diameter (from top of tyre to bottom of tyre) comes out as.

You can have 20s or 14s, it just depends on the total rubber height ;) As long as you've got chunky rubber around the 14s or fanbelts around the 20s, and they come to the same height if you measure them with a tape measure, it won't impact on your speedo reading.
