A V8 SC it is not.

Way to may bits for factory equipment on it to even once be considered a V8SC.
More power than a V8SC you are kidding yourself.

thats what i thought as well, theyre virtually just a big cage with the body panels attached to it.

and why would you bother going to the massive task of making a V8 supercar into a stock bodied XR8? you would be getting rid of everything that makes it a V8 supercar... be cheaper easier and smarter to just buy a XR8 and be done with it.

I like it how you're not supposed to take photos of customer's rides yet you post it in a public forum for car enthusiasts and even say that you made the roll cage for it  Genius.

Im pretty sure its NILE8R with different wheels. Its not a V8SC, just a heavily modified XR8. Had around 500rwhp or something like that, 363 cube dart block, 6speed, etc..

sure woudlnt john,

there like bare shells, the suspension mounting points are different aswell. its not like you can chuck normal pedders suspension into a v8 super car shell

it would already have a roll cage in it from race days.

there is no way a 5 litre blocked windsor can make 700 hp with that manifold and no forced induction.

and there is no reason why it needs to idle at 3000, victor brays car has a cam bigger then my house and it dosent idle at 3 grand.

i reken t250 can beat it in reverse...

Ignoring the mechanical side of things, who the **** would gut a V8 supercar (worth at least 100,000 big ones) to put it on the road?

Why would someone remove a $40,000-ish chromoly rollcage designed by Prodrive, a billion dollar company, then ask a welder who obviously has little race engineering experience to weld (and not bolt?) in a new cage.

I know if I had $100,000-ish to spend buying an ex V8SC, then strip it, take every piece of the shell apart, weld approx 450 new brackets to the car, weld all of the factory inner guards/floor/firewall back in, then fitting factory everything, I wouldn't be taking it to some 4WD shop to install a rollcage.
