just keep calling and calling and calling and calling .. dont stop..

frustrating as hell and really bad to have to deal with but youll get there...

Yeh, Gozz and I had the same problems contacting Geoff. PITA. 6boost is no better, I think all turbo people suck at returning calls/answering calls/supplying correct parts/supplying any parts at all...

Anyway, with regards to your dump pipe hitting, what is the setup? V-band rear flange or the 6 bolt for an internally gated turbo? If V-band, you should be able to loosen it and twist the dump pipe a little for more clearance.

How are your engine mounts? If they are cactus the engine will rock around all over the place and you will have problems...

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

thats interesting to know, as i got my kit from snort through ebay, it took him two months to send it and then when i got it the manifold wouldnt bolt up flush to the head with out hitting on the heater pipe below, sent the manifold back to him took another month to get it back..I reckon it must have been a BA type..

it's internal wastegate..

engine mounts are 12 months old, when the engine is cold the gap between the dump pipe and the stering shaft is no more than 5mm

It is fairly normal for Geoff to not answer the phone. You have to remember that Geoff is, apart from his unreliable and disloyal fabricator, the only staff at Snort performance. He has A LOT on his plate.
Because he wants to supply turbo kits to people such as yourselves at a VERY cheap price considering the quality of the product, he hardly makes any money out of the business. This is something I've been trying to convince him to remedy, so you should see the price of Snort kits go up slightly soon.
I'm sure people would rather pay an extra $500 for a kit and have more readily available customer service than the current setup!?
In any case, at the moment, Geoff is in Melbourne trying to setup a workshop as a distributor which will offer a total fitting service and the opportunity to purchase stock through them. That would be taking his concentration at the moment.

If I talk to him I'll mention you're trying to get on to him.

Snort isn't a big business. its run out of the back yard so you cant expect it to be bang on like JMM, Mike's Dyno etc. plus the rumor goes that Geoff the Chef isnt big on... well...people. be paitent. but thier gear is worth it and im sure anyone who is running one of thier setups will vouch for em.

paitents is a vertue....good thing come to those who wait blah blah blah

One of the benefits of going through a SNort Distrubitor ( Like CVE ;) ) is that they do all the chasing.
If you get stuck, let me know and maybe I can help.

Oh and Bradman's reg is ready for him.

That is true. The website has run out of bandwidth (not sure if that's the correct way to explain it, anyway) every month for the last 3 or so months, I suppose that takes his email with it when it goes.

If it makes you feel any better, Geoff doesn't reply to my emails most of the time either. Call him!
If you have no luck with that, PM me and I'll help you out.
