My houesmate has a TLR1000 and an R1.....I live with the temptation to get a bike every freakin' day....but I know I'll do fken dumb shit so I don't let myself get one
I find that in general, motorbike riders are 'better' than car drivers, weither they are riding a bike or driving a car. On a bike you are 'out there' you can see, hear and smell more, and you need to keep your shit attentive because if you don't, someone will accidentally kill you.
That carries over to cars - when they drive cars they LOOK at what is going on and take steps to compensate for other idiots.
The failing they have is because bikes are so damn fast+ nimble, the temptation is there to USE that acceleration, and it doesn't always end well

I reckon they should change the licensing rules: Get learners, go to a 100cc scooter for 6 months after passing driving test, then do 6 months in a car, then onto red P's.
Would help people learn to use their brains when they drive I would hope...but I suspect you just can't fix stupid, and all that would happen is lots of people would die.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
