modified sump..?

Postby Ef_frmnt » December 4th, 2008, 3:05 pm

The time has finally come when im getting my licence back soon and im going to start work on my vehicle so ive got something to drive, now i remember seeing on ebay months ago AU engines with modified sumps to fit in EF/ELs but cant find them now. Does anyone know where i can get one or anyone that can do this for me??

And if anyone has a bellhousing from an AU t5.... cos i also need one of those.

The standard bellhousing will be fine. The only issue is that the bottom 2 bolts don't line up, but they're not really needed. Heaps of people are running AU engines with an e-series bellhousing.

Aussie Auto Recylcers
28 Monte St
Slacks Creek, QLD 4127
(07) 3290 3000

Give them a call - ABC wreckers at oxley had an abundance of AU motors starting around $200 last time i was there.

Just buy a regular AU motor and use an angle grinder on the fins on the front of the sump..If your not sure...grind them all off haha

Its different for EF/EL apparently, a section needs to be cut off completely and rewelded.
