Even if it was wheel spinning for half of the 1/4 mile, it would be doing the first half of the run with only 50rwkw and the last half with 500rwkw, meaning that the average for the run would only be 275rwkw.
So it would only run the MPH of a 275rwkw car...
Granted, these are extreme examples, but they illustrate that this kind of stuff CAN make a difference

mate whats going to happen after the wheel spin stops? its going to grip. if the spedo is on like 100km while wheel spining and it suddenly gets grip what speed would the car be doing should be on around 80KM like i said the MPH should be close to what it should perform.
Thanatos wrote:Also, keep in mind that very rarely do spinning wheels suddenly 'hook up' and stop spinning. And, to be honest, if they did this then you would probably break something! They slowly gain more and more traction, until eventually there is enough traction to stop the wheels spinning at all. So for the entire time this is happening, the average power will be lower than it should be.
