Just a suggestion, on the Boosted Performance Times/ Numbers could we possible get a section to provide/ add proof????

Most people seem pretty chuffed on the performance of there car so they probably would still have the dyno (questionably) sheet and 1/4 mile time (what really matters) slip lying around.

Not that posting up a dyno sheet or time slip will help anyway.

In the new list everyone will have to post up at least three dyno sheets and time slips from different dynos and tracks that have been certified by a qualified JP and bare the official wax seal from the Duke of Wellington. The dyno graphs and time slips will have to have accompanying photographs of the signed JP inside or within one meter of said car as it is doing it's power run on the dyno or as it goes through the traps on the strip. Photographs will need to be date and time stamped by the camera taking the photo, EXIF data will need to be left in tact to help verify the image authenticity. In the case of a dyno power run the parameters of the dyno will need to be calibrated by an independent operator provided by the manufacturer of the said dyno. In the case of a 1/4 mile pass there will need to be no less than one physicist, one biologist, one astronomer and one witch doctor to verify the weather, ground and planet alignment conditions at the time of the run. The earth's rotation will have to be stopped completely for the duration of the run so to rule out any help it may provide to the car. The earths axis is slightly tilted so this would need to be righted beforehand as well. There will need to be complete silence to help the driver focus so therefore a giant glass dome will need to be constructed over the track to allow a vacuum to be created. The car will be fitted with apparatus to simulate controlled levels of air and pressure to facilitate the proper operation of the engine. There will be a one minute movement freeze and silence imposed upon all living things across the entire planet so that a Spotted Starry Nosed Rock Quoll on the other side of the world doesn't cause any vibrations that might change the result of the pass. All volcanoes the world over will need to be extinguished prior to the run for the same reason. We will of course have to come up with a way to control the weather and all of nature before this level of stadardisation is put into place.

Until then I suppose we should just their word for it... within reason of course.

I reckon the thread works better then a database, it comes up as a new post when it gets updated so i wont miss it when TUFED6 runs a 9.
Also any shenanigans get spotted quicker for the same reason.
It also gives people the opportunity to post extra info (boost/tyre type/excuses).

i think any stats should come with some sort of proof even if its just a g tech readout.
Its not even a question of trust, it is a question of how accurate the statistics are.
e.g. a 1/4 with a stop watch compared to 1/4 with an offical timing system.....big difference in accuracy.

actually thats very close lol. I have enough gear to make it 390rwkw, its just not in the car.
havent done a performance run yet but has lukey headers, crow stage3 s/c cam, rising rate fpr, crane hi-6, j3, bbm.. i figure about 135rwkw with a good tune.
need forged pistons etc to go ahead with installing the full build which includes 16psi s/c and 75hp shot of nitrous aswell as a lot of work to get rid of parasitic losses, and ported head.
waiting on high flow cat at the moment.
