Nice contradiction there.
It needs the resistor mod or a J3.
ClassicAU wrote:Saw this thing at Kev's yesterday arvo, looks good made. You do keep it clean I have to say, nice work. The guys did a masive effort to get it going, Kev is a machine! Sounds pretty good too!

There is only one wire to change for this, pretty sure theres a link from the T.I. Performance site to a thread on fordmods with the info, you move it from the pin which is now the Data pin, to one of the injector pulse/trigger lines or similar.

I see this car all the time in Clayton!

?
They turn on and off at specified temperatures
travs ea-xr6 wrote:good shit dezza, did you rust kill that shit before u boged it ?
ClassicAU wrote:Nice work on keeping this thing clean mate, looks the goods! What type of gear knob did you put on? The reason I ask is because I scored a knob which I thought would fit EL but the thread was too small for the stick. The one I have now I think is a stock EA knob? Looks terrible though! So whats the deal, are box car gear stick threads thicker than EF/EL?
only took a couple of hours in the end. I sanded it back, I used a drill to really attack the edges of the rust and get it all out, a fair bit of hammering and bending to straighten it out a bit, hit it with the rust converter, hit it with several layers of bog allowing it to dry between layers, then sanded it smooth, and just a bit of a rough spray with silver paint. The paint is pretty shitty but in all honesty the rest of the paint on the car is pretty ordinary. It looks fine till you get up closeSnyperEB wrote:hOW LONG IT TAKE YA TO DO dEZ?
I originally thought the same but I also used to think blue checkerplate floormats were a good look!ClassicAU wrote:LOL @ Shaun!
Seriously? I think its butt ugly man! I like the feel of the later ones myself, especially the nice factory momo, but I dont think they will fit either!

EB1 Ghia with the darker leather!!
BenJ wrote:Yep, the darker EB1 leather recaro type seats are hard to find in good condition, but you could make a good drivers seat from a decent passenger one like I did.
Good work with the rust repair. I have to do the same for mine again soon.

I do have some clean rust free metal I cut out of another wagon to be welded in at some point. Just have to tee it all up.
I would prefer to wait till then but the Sydney All Ford Day is in June? I think, I may not be able to fit it in by then. May just get the bog out again.
Cheers
