If you are cheap and awesome you can do dodgy kent styles headgasket
As long as the motor overheating isn't the cause of the headgasket blowing, and you take the head off when the engine is dead cold, the heads are sometimes okay (surprises are exciting!).
Get a straight edge, double check its warpedness, realise your straight edge isn't long enough and say "flat enough", I like new headbolts but others don't even do that (mad dogs), clean block with orbital sander, scrape head down (alloy is soft yo), then use a fibre type cheap headgasket (not only for cheapness, AU MLS style are more sensitive to warped heads, fibre type ones love it), slap it all together, flush coolant, new oil.
Guaranteed to at least 25,000kms, cause thats what mines done
Cost? Trade price = under 100 dollaro.
Don't come to me crying if it fails but
