Thx every1 u're all not too bad yourselves
There's a distinct lack of new threads but no shortage of replies to any NEW threads that come up, like this one.
It's just a matter of not much to talk about at the moment? Seems the same at other forums too. It's like everything's been covered over and over. That matters more here because of how much we flame people if they ask a dumb question or don't do a search for something that's already been covered before asking about it.
In light of all that, we definitely have some of the best E-Series around in our Showroom and Build areas. The lack of VHT and colour coding related posts, and the large amount of innovation that goes on with some cars makes every thread an interesting read.
This is my 7th year on E-Series forums and my interest is honestly on the decline - prob be just a lurker by the end of this year

I've stopped fking around with my cars as much as I used to and am looking for a car that I'll keep long term.. just waiting for it to come up. Some of the most interesting times on these forums were definitely 2001-2002 when people were doing the first MPFI conversions (Brent79), 5 speed conversions (Bass Crazy), BBM conversions (Bass Crazy), MPFI with gas (Galapogos), 5 speed V8 conversion (NZinAU) ... shit like that was the best. First it would be asked whether it can be done, then a list of parts would be compiled and someone would have a crack at it. Something would then go balls up and then that one little bit of info that was overlooked would be discovered and it was a benefit to anyone doing the mods in future. For example - the difference between distributors for CFI and MPI and also the importance of the "pink" wire to the TFI.
Nowadays nothing seems to interest me as much as it used to. The days of good gains, discovery and the benefit of simple mods like the above have been traded in for good gains from big $$ changes like turbo and 6 speed conversions.. not to mention DOHC.
/emo stuff that needed to be said.
