Which ED are you on about? I have lost track of how many you have owned lately! If you mean Rob’s old car, then sure, that plus $10k and you got a deal! :P

Ok, I actually have something serious to ask this time. I disconnected the battery from the car last weekend for about half an hour, as I needed to take the air bag off to fix the cruise control buttons. Anyway, ever since then, the stupid factory option alarm has been going off its head! If anyone so much as brushes past the car now, it freaks out! Even loud exhausts are setting it off!
The problem is, I never got given the key that turns the system off, and Ford don’t have them anymore as it’s listed obsolete. So what the hell do I do now? I was close to just up and cutting the wires that go to the siren, but am afraid this will immobilize the engine. Is this true, or can I just snip the sob off? Anyone know anything about this at all?

Edit: Never mind, AFF to the rescue! http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11219830

nah they broke up a little bit a go i think.
i did a few jobs for him and he came cruising a few times with me and my mates.
he actually isnt a bad guy and recons most of his posts were to get a reaction but i dont know about that.
he did quickest 15.3 but wrecked his clutch gearbox tailshaft and a few other things.
the thing tramps off its head but ahh well he is selling and buying a subaru apparently.
he blames the forums for it which i find very funny.

Poor Ev :-(

no, i'm serious, he must be shattered. Where'd the subaru idea come from? Didn't he want an xr6t? Imo an (auto) stockish xr6t would suit him well. As long as it remains auto & stockish...

Yeah Ev has had more comebacks than John Farnham.
He'll hate a Subaru liberty. They are a heavy slow underpowered car.
Unless he dishes out 20 grand for a mid 2000's 6cyl model.

Thanks guys, hopefully with less whinging this time! :P This year has been crazy, lost my job for a while but found an even better one anyway! Been sent interstate for work a few times, had a girlfriend then lost a girlfriend. Ended up with a boosted V8 Falcon!! How can I possibly complain! I am just wrapped it actually turned out well this time, plus the result is exactly what I wanted. I only got the kit delivered to me Tuesday last week, installed it myself Saturday (with a bit of help from Josh, thanks mate!) and got it tuned today! Other than the charger, nothing mechanical has changed, apart from a complete rebuild of the T5. Anyway, pics I took this arvo.
