HSV Clubsport out of control

Postby XR6 Hulk » February 12th, 2008, 11:26 am

Hi,

I was having some scons for breakfast on Sunday morning when I could hear some hoon giving it to a V8. You could here the car cutting out from bouncing on the rev limiter.

I looked outside as it was getting noisier and obviously closer. I live in a quiet backstreet. Then all of a sudden a black VY/VZ Clubsport turns right into my street just a few houses down, sliding up the street all crossed up, the guy must have hooked it too much or hit the brake because it just slid back the other way and slid sideways up my neighbours driveway and stopped into his tree.

There was three blokes in the car all dumbfounded, they sat there for about 10 seconds, the guy was sideways on my neighbours front lawn. He just reversed it and drove off up the road. Now my neighbours have a whole series of tyres marks leading out of their double driveway way up the road. His tree is damaged as well

Bloody HSV drivers.

It left a bitter taste in my mouth along with the scons. There was cars carked on the street, people just dont think.

I know its not HSV drivers (the mojority) its their p-plate sons who say "can i just take the car up to grab the paper/bring the video back etc.

Too much baking powder in the scones? That can be problematic

You're right, people just don't think.

What would you do if some guy slid into your front lawn, left tyre marks on your driveway, knocked over your tree?

The guy looked late 20s or early 30s, chubby bloke with a dopey looking face. You know those guys which have a little fat on them and their heads are out of symmetry? Holden drivers?

What is it with the scons? I was eating them whilst the clubbie was out of control. But the point of my post was not the scons but the clubbie and the dangerous antics of the driver...

There must be heaps of police reading this thread.... donuts...mmmm scons.....mmmm
