1.53 was only a lazy launch. not even 9psi on the foot brake. Watch the video, its a lazy take off. Hoped my next run hadn't been when the previous vehicle had dropped oil in the 60, as that felt like it was going to be a better 60.
Ivans UTE does done a 1.48 60foot, when he done his 10.44 @ 130mph.. Probably one of the best 60foot's i've seen from a BA/F/FG street driven vehicle, Especially being a ute (FYI: utes are heavier than sedans).
Christians BF ran a 1.45 which is sensational also-don't tell anyone but i think he secretly runs NOS.. lol!! jokes!!

Something in common? they both run standard turbos (bar christian who has bigger comp cover)
But My point being, if you want your 9, you need to 60 foot like a man. Whats made me wonder is that, Your goal of running a 9, but you have gone about setting up the vehicle totally wrong suspension wise. Coilovers? And you complain about "weight transfer?" or the lack of it!? But congratulations on your 10.8x anyways?!?!?
My car has had respectable numbers every time its gone out. I've never had to come back to the forum and had to make up an excuse for it.
My excuse is I hardly have time in my life to spend time on my vehicle and take it out more often than I do. That's why you will randomly hear a time without prior knowledge of me going out and doing something.
Had i had the dedication of taking it out to nearly every single drag meet and had money to allocate towards it, I'm sure someone would have posted "headsex has ran a 8" post by now. But point is, My cars built by me for my enjoyment, One goal I've ever had was to run a 9, which really, i could have done 2 years ago given its current configuration has not changed since. I've never had a goal to beat someone else.
Oh, and for the record, my 9.97 was done midday in the blistering heat at heathcote.. Cold Night at Calder? bring it on.. Although, I really don't think i want to risk another pass on this motor.. it is still standard as built by ford!!!
BTW, Paul, taxjob only just made aware of the icerspec excuse gauge.. I hope I feature in the next one
