A bead roller will take all of ten seconds, do it, buy decent clamps not supercheap ones, and you're done. Bet you can't do it all yourself.

You do realise a bead roller is not a "machine"... it is a simple hand held tool that rolls a lip/bead into the end of a pipe. It would literally take ten seconds to do once the pipe is off.

If he's doing it for $2k.. I'll fly down to Melbourne and do it for only a grand. Free oil and filter change included.

sorry cant read your mind paul.

No bead yet. Said i will do it if pipe comes off again. 2 nights of rape and seems to be holding with both clamps. Ill still keep it as is for now till it comes off :P

HWY is where its at. Car is build for HWY only. I go looking for VLs all night lol. Even ones who come out with parachutes on the hwy.... LOL Funny trying to line me up with a chute and 205s on the back when you can clarly see the car is tubbed lol. Looked pretty funny in the rear view mirror.

But if i can go to the track and run a 9 bonus! But ill be darned if i have to take a head light out, remove seats, full slicks and front runners and whatever else.

If its built for "the highway" then why did you take out the ZYX coilovers, and replace them with specially built springs..?

Why do you have an electronic boost controller for launches if you're only doing roll-ons?

How many Internet cafes on the highway?

You need to take a good look at yourself if you've built this car entirely for street racing. If that's the case, you're not an enthusiast just another wanker that's jumped on this "HWY" bandwagon. It's people like you that ruin it for the rest of us, you need to take a good look at yourself.

i am the hwy. i am the bandwagon :D

nothing wrong with cruising with a high powered. Not like i go racing. Noone lines me up either way so i dont ruin it for anyone :) Its people with single pegger slow cars who ruin it for all. Everyone knows it.

I may of mispoke, care is not 100% for hwy. Maybe 90% hwy 10% track trying to break that damn 9. Hence im willing to make the slight change for the suspension. And of course i cant change it back to coil overs after i run this 9 because all the haters will bang on about 'is wasnt as is on the street blah blah suspension' and of course i care right.

Ef_frmnt, car is build more so for off the line take offs not roll ons. Its an auto! When you press the brake the car sits on 15psi so takes 2-3secs before hitting 24psi. So not the best for roll ons lol.

I'll rephrase, you said,

"care/car is for the highway 90% bla bla bla don't even race just film people doing so and probably hand it to police so I can get a macgyver badge, and because they don't time the highway so technically I can't fail....... and I love VLT's!"

Then after I asked why you've got an electronic boost/launch controller you said..

"Oh I'm sorry I'm just going to try and talk my way out of the previous lie and tell you that my car is totally setup for launches/drags, considering I've got this electronic whizzbanger thingo that tells my car how many boosts, and hectic ET streets that show the VLT's who's boss from miles away! The only problem is I can't actually run the 9 second 1/4 mile pass I claimed was a certainty, so now I pour my drums of e85 down the drain when the neighbours aren't watching so I don't have to fail at the track again"

That's about the gist of the thread since you failed at "Chasing 9's 2012!"
