...and let me put some spaces and colours for the retards.

THE COOLER PIPE CAME OFF THE CAR AT ABOUT 350M DOWN THE TRACK. To explain it a bit more, there was ~50m of the track that i had 0 boost and was on about what, 130rwkw for 50m of the run so i basically rolled over the line from 350 onwards. Even with the roll over, i still had 34.14mph from 660' to the end and ROLLED over when i got 10.58.

Im tempted to put up a pic of a cooler pipe coming off a pipe...

Its like trying to explain something to that ICER guy....37

Right lane is give or take a few MPH on the track. All my runs were on the left. Track and times are fine.

Im happy with that title NUT.

Now im chasing the following titles cause i know the car has it in it:

140MPH Club(tick!), 9 SEC club, Fastest Sedan on ETs, Fastest Low mount, Highest MPH low mount (tick?) im sure i can work out a few more things on the way. Least these are not vague.

Fastest red BA with ETs and lowmount? lol

Definitely too low in the rear... You'll benefit from stock springs in the back. Weight transfer will be better.

yes LOAD transfer will be better on stock springs of course. Hence doing the change before next outing.

Changed pressure a few times as track got cold/breaks/not many people on track. That launch was at 17psi so could drop it still 3/4psi if track was warmer.

justa6...imagine when it does do 1.5's :) 90/10s about $1300-1500 cant recall.

If it is lifting like that the 90/10's wont make much difference.
if it is hooking up leave the pressures as is, or put IN half a psi.

As mentioned before it does look like a very agressive launch, especially for the 60ft time, do you log the runs ? ie does it boost up then drop a bit as it takes off.
What about the rpm ?

you may be spending all the energy moving the car up, instead of it moving forwards.

curious to see what time it did 1/2 track.

Has this got standard cams?

All the QLD boys are running crow cams now, they always pull 1.5x 60s now. Enough for a 10.2x@135++MPH on 22.5 psi.

Still reckon your mph is suss, how come last time you did a 10.5 with a similar 60 you did 137mph?

here you go

Image

Parf, i would of went 142/143mph if it kept going.

As you can see. 2 runs, both exact same mph 140.41. One is 0.41sec better.

Falcon4life, was never referring to you. Just retards who dont understand the concept of a car slowing down if it has 0 boost for the last 50m of a run.

CVE, didnt get enough time to practice anything bar adjusting the AMS boost creep in which we have adjusted to suit the heathcote track. Slowly bring on boost the first 2 seconds. If it was calder we would keep it 1.3sec. I did a 3500rpm launch on like 3psi and it held with final configuration hence the last run was a 1.69. So hoping 4000rpm with about 8psi next and then 10/12/14psi.

Pipe coming off or not, still good times and good mph. :drinks2:
More chance the pipe came off when you backed off, as that is when the BOV's struggle to dump all the air.
those runs don't show 9 second potential,at least the first half doesn't.
to get the 140 in the top end you must be piling in some serious boost !

Take it to a good track, get Dion to mess with the AMS and then you will have some serious fun !

No doubting 140mph is good mph. Strong!

But your pipe didn't blow off with 50m to go. More likely when you took your foot off at the end. Your slips don't support your statement.

Does Dion use an AMS on his other cars? Has he had trouble with them too?

Car is only on 22psi boost atm.

Dion does use the AMS. Has no trouble with em. They aint that hard. The problem is adjusting them to per track and testing.

He wants me to go to WSID. I said sure, once i get full slicks, front runners and drive shafts and maybe a few sneaky mods possibly later in the year cause if i go now, im sure they will snap.

You using stock shafts? Returning to stock height will put MUCH less strain on the shafts. The stock shafts are pretty strong at stock height.

You shouldn't need full slicks. Cars are running 8 no dramas on drag radials. They are lighter cars, but the grip should be there. Absolute WORST case you simply run a 15 inch drag radial. Other option is to run a wider 17 inch wheel with your 275 mt's, you will get a better contact patch. The 17x8 you run isn't ideal for a 275 width tyre.

my plan is to run the 9.94 target goal of mine with a 1.54-1.59 60'. I dont need a magical 1.45. Will be wrapped if i can run it as ill know 'id have ~.20ths better ET at a good track (which is massive).

I want to come to WSID if you go. Let me know

I'm starting to think it hasn't got it in it. Not the first half of the track anyway. Seems to make up a heap of mph at the end though.
